We accept payment by Credit Card, Direct Deposit & PayPal, if you select the Pick Up option you can even pay by cash. Payment must be received within three days of selecting “Buy It Now” or a non-payment claim will be lodged with eBay.
For credit card payments you will have to send us your contact details via messenger as we are no longer allowed to display our phone number here. (eBay Policy)
Goods purchased and paid for by Twelve Noon South Australian time, will be shipped the same working day, items purchased after this time will be shipped the next working day.
Most items will be shipped via a courier company, you will receive a unique tracking number once your order has been picked and it is packed ready for the courier to collect. We cannot deliver items to a Post Office Box we need a physical address, where the courier can deliver your order.
You will be able to track your delivery online via the Courier web site, just enter your unique tracking number.
Please note that if there is not anyone available to sign at the time of delivery, the item may be left in a discreet location or if you have supplied a contact number you may receive a phone call from the driver. If you do not want us to leave the item please advise us at the time of order.
Buyers have the full responsibility to provide us with the correct delivery address and contact details on the checkout page before payment. Any changes to address after checkout need to be passed on to us as soon as possible either by phoning the warehouse or by eBay messages. If the goods have left we cannot change the address without incurring significant penalty (re-delivery fees) from the courier companies.
The Parts Man is not liable for any delay, losses or damage to goods by a courier company; this is outside of our control. This includes changes of delivery address after checkout, or mistakes made by buyers.
A re-delivery fee will be charged to buyers for items that are undeliverable, or returned to The Parts Man warehouse due to incorrect delivery address supplied. Items will only be delivered during normal business hours (9am to 5pm) on weekdays. Delivery is not available on weekends, public holidays or after business hours.
The Parts Man Return Policy
In addition to the consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law and subject to our standard trading terms The Parts Man has the following return policy for eBay purchases. When you purchase a product from this store, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by our return policy set out below.
In a Nutshell, it’s pretty simple really if you have a problem then let us know, we will do everything in our power to make it right. The main thing is to make sure you are selecting the right part for your vehicle and if you’re not sure then give us a call or send us an email and together we will work it out.
If you are unhappy with your purchase or simply change your mind, you can exchange or get a refund on any item, provided it is returned to us within 30 days of the purchase date, and is still in the original packaging and in saleable condition. (IE not fitted to a vehicle or modified) As a rule of thumb, would you be happy to receive the item you are returning? If so, it should be fine.
The buyer will be liable for all freight charges to return the item. We will refund the item price less the freight component; (what it cost us to send to you) this is clearly identified on the invoice we send to you with your goods.
To qualify for a refund excluding shipping costs, you must receive approval from us before returning the item. We will give you a return authorisation number to include with your return. If you return an item without an authorisation number, your refund may be delayed as it’s difficult to know who returned what and why without a way to identify the item. Approval will not be given after thirty days from the purchase date.

The Parts Man Warranty Procedure.

All of our goods are warranted to be free from manufacturing defect for twelve months period from the date of purchase.
If you have a product you believe to be faulty please contact us via email or telephone and we will give you a return authorisation number. This number must be written on the package you return to us or processing your claim may be delayed. You will be sent a warranty claim form with our address details, this form must be completed and accompany the part you are claiming.
Buyer must return the product to The Parts Man warehouse for processing of the warranty claim. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We will pay the return freight on any replacement goods if a manufacturing defect has caused the failure.
The warranty does not apply to failure or damage to the unit caused by incorrect fitment, contamination by foreign materials, improper use or any modifications made to the product. No warranty will be available if the product is used for anything other than what it was originally intended.
All items that are returned for a warranty claim will be tested, then passed or denied at the discretion of The Parts Man. Under this warranty the Company is only liable to grant a credit for the original price of the goods. The Company shall not be liable to replace the goods or pay any other amount including amounts for any consequential, direct, indirect or special loss, expenses associated with making a claim, damage or injury of any kind whatsoever, including but not limited to removal & refitting of the goods.
