All items sold by Sydneytec are covered with limited manufacturer warranty as stated in individual listings (unless otherwise stated). Please refer to specific manufacturer warranties for full warranty terms and conditions.
Any product found to be faulty within 14 days from the date of dispatch must firstly receive an RMA number from the manufacturer. A case number is needed to process any faulty replacement/return. Please note DOA replacement is at the manufacturer's discretion.
DOA items must be returned back to us within 7 days. Please firstly obtain a case number from the applicable manufacturer for an RMA number. This RMA number must be included in the parcel when returned to us. Any items which are returned to us without an RMA number may result in a delay in processing the warranty claim.
Faulty items under warranty but outside of the 14 day period will be sent back to manufacturer's authorised repair centre for repair, and normal turnaround time for a repair job is 7-21 working days. Please note although it is the manufacturer's responsibility to repair a genuinely faulty product under warranty, it is still at the manufacturer's discretion whether to repair it or otherwise advised. We suggest customers to return the faulty product to the authorised repair centre directly for any warranty claim if possible, as this can shorten a lot of transit time for sending the product to us and then forwarding to the repair centre. Completed job will be returned by the repair centre to customer directly.
For any warranty returns, all postage costs will be paid for by the purchaser.
Any liquid or physical damage (i.e Broken display, cracked screen, water damage, etc...) are not covered by warranty, if returned item is found to be in working order, but has been subject to water or physically damaged, an administration charge of $35 and all relevant postage should be paid for by the purchaser, before item will be returned.
