Returns & Exchanges
Our target is to guarantee your full satisfaction. If, for any reason whatsoever, you are not satisfied with your order, you may exercise your right to return the purchased products within fourteen (14) days from the date on which you received your package from Modemani.com.
All shipping costs for returns, other than those concerning faulty items and/or items sent by mistake, will be at your own expense. Modemani.com will cover all shipping expenses for faulty items and items sent by mistake.
To make a return you should:
1. Request via e-mail to make a return within 7 days of receiving your order. Inside your package you will find a Return Form that should be filled out and returned with the package. All items returned should have a email return request. Unidentified returns may be returned to the sender;
2. Arrange for a shipping agent to collect the package. The products may be returned by any agent that you wish to use, however you are responsible for the item returning safely and in perfect condition back to Modemani.com. Modemani.com does not guarantee the safety or insurance of the items returned and does not accept liability for those goods. The address for returns will be given online at the time you request your RAN number.
3. You will be notified by email once your order has been received and processed.
Terms and Conditions of Return
The right to return products shall be deemed correctly exercised once the following conditions have been fully met:
1. Request via email a return within 7 days of receiving your order by sending us an email with your ordser number and details of your return. Please note that requests after 7 days of delivery of the order will be granted at Modemani.com’s discretion;
2. The Return Form must be filled correctly and the items to be returned must be received within fourteen (14) days from the day that the return request was e-mailed to Modemani.com.;
3. The products have not been used, worn, washed, modified or damaged and the identification tag and all designer garment tags are still attached to the products with the disposable seal. All products sold by Modemani.com come with an identification tag attached with a disposable seal. We remind you to try on your items without removing the tag or seal, as we do not accept returned products unless they are in the same condition in which they were delivered to you.
4. The products must be returned, complete and unused, in their original packaging. Where provided, belts and any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags, leather tags, designer boxes and jewelry boxes and dust bags should also be returned as they are considered part of the product. If boxes of products when returned are damaged your return may not be accepted;
5. Returned items must be shipped back to Modemani.com within fourteen days (14) from the day that the package was received by you. Items that are returned later than the time frame of fourteen (14) days from the day of the delivery of the order, will be accepted only at the discretion of Modemani.com and may only be refunded as a store credit;
6. If you are returning more than one items from the same order, they must be sent in a single delivery: Modemani.com cannot accept multiple returns from the same order, with items sent at different times.
7. Items on sale or items purchased using a promotional code can be returned for store credit only.
8. The amount of Euro 50 will be deducted from the return total, if the package was not picked up and returned to us.
9. For destination outside the EU, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through Modemani.com. You should try to contact your local customs bureau directly and by providing them all the return documents you should be able to recover these amounts. Modemani.com is not responsible in case the return is stopped at European customs and is liable for duties. Modemani.com responsibility starts when the package arrives at our warehouse. Please make sure to send the package as a return in order to avoid custome fees when returning the package to us.
If you fulfilled all requirements set forth above, Modemani.com shall refund the entire price for the returned purchased products excluding shipping costs which we deduct to cover the cost of initial shipping. In case the returned products cannot be accepted you will be notified by Modemani.com. In this case, you may choose to have the products delivered to you at your expense by Modemani.com. If you refuse the above delivery, Modemani.com reserves the right to retain the products and the amount paid for your purchase of the products.
Items should be sent back within 14 days from the day that the package from Modemani.com was received by you. Items that are returned later than the time frame of fourteen (14) days from the day that the package was received by you, will be accepted only at the discretion of Modemani.com and may only be refunded as a store credit.
Swimwear, Underwear and Hosiery Returns
Swimming costumes and bikini bottoms should be tried on over underwear, without removing the protective adhesive strip. Returns may not be accepted if this strip has been removed or if items are soiled, and may be sent back to the customer.
All complaints will be dealt with sympathetically. Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Any items that are clearly suffering from a manufacturing defect will be replaced or refunded immediately. However, we reserve the right, in the case of questionable complaints, to return the goods to the manufacturer for inspection in order to clarify whether the complaint is genuine. We will keep the customer informed of the progress of her complaint. This procedure may take up to 30 days.
Faulty goods are considered as such, only if they are returned with all safety seals attached. In case that goods are returned broken without the products' original safety seal, they will not be considered as faulty and will not be credited or exchanged.
If you would like to exchange a faulty item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items.
If you would like to exchange your item for a different size or product, please contact us as soon as possible as we will than hold the product for you until the initial order will be returned. Shipping charges may apply. We will exchange any items provided they are returned unworn in perfect condition with all their original packaging intact within the 14 days return period.
To exchange an item, simply specify the new size or product you require by email or phone.
Receiving a refund
After Modemani.com has received products and checked that the products meet all requirements for return, you will receive an email that the returned products have been accepted. Refund will either be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card or Paypal account and will exclude shipping costs, which we deduct to cover the cost of our shipping. Whatever form of payment you used (Credit or Debit Card or PayPal), the refund procedure will start within 30 days from when Modemani.com was informed of your decision to exercise your right to return the purchased products and once Modemani.com checked that the return was carried out in compliance with the above conditions. The time period for refunding the amount you paid for purchasing the returned products depends on the form of payment you used:
1. Credit or Debit Card
The refund time will depend on the card company’s policies.;
Refunds will be credited to your PayPal account and will be visible immediately. The actual reimbursement to the credit card associated with your PayPal account depends on the company that issued the card;
